360 Sports Bike/Tri Club
CLUB UPDATE
8/10/2010: We will have our August Bike and Tri Club meeting this Thursday, August 12th at 6:30 at the store. On the agenda: upcoming race/rides (such as Hotter ‘n Hell, F3, Branson Half-Iron Man, Florida Full Ironman) Cyclo-Cross Season, fall Mountain bike race series, and others. We will not be having our usual ride and youth ride.
3/26/2010: This Sunday, March 28th , we will be racing in the NWA Spring Classic in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. See their web site for more information. http://www.nwaspringclassic.com/nwaspringclassic/home.html. For those racing, we will meet here at the store for our usual Saturday group ride at 8:00 am We will be leaving Sunday morning at 6:30 am for the race.
3/25/2010: Mock Tri at the Owasso Family YMCA on Saturday, March 27th at 7:00 am. Anyone is welcome to attend.
3/05/2010: Monthly club meeting at the store, Saturday, March 6 at 4:00 pm. See you then!

2/12/10: Club Newsletter
We had our first 360 Sports Bike and Tri Club meeting last Saturday night. It was a great turn out with many people attending. Natalie Bird welcomed everyone to the meeting. Ironman athlete, Dana Jordison talked about his personal journey and goals. Eddie James gave an inspirational talk on how to stay focused on your training – “Discipline – doing what you need to do now so you can grow stronger” . John Stanfield talked about race training and planning. Jon Ray talked about the club objectives which are to encourage new riders to participate in cycling and triathlons, conduct educational seminars and clinics, organize group rides and multi-sport training sessions. We plan on supporting and promoting club racing in Road, MTB, and Cyclocross racing as well as having a youth/junior program.
We are in the process of ordering bike jerseys and bib kits, tri kits, running tech t-shirts, and cotton t-shirts along with a team helmet. We have helmets to try on for sizing here at the store and should be receiving the clothing kit to try on for sizing soon. Due to the weather in the other parts of the country, delivery has been delayed. We hope to have it here by Tuesday of next week. We will need to order the kits as soon as possible, if you would like one please let us know quickly.
Our next meeting will be Saturday, March 6th at 4:00 pm here at the store.
