Tulsa Wheelmen Thursday Night Time Trail Series:
• This Thursday, April 8th will be the first time trail of the series. See attached flier. There will be a few of us going to participate. The cost for the time trial is $10.00 plus if you do not have a USAC yearly license, there is a one-day license fee for $10.00. We will be riding (bikes) from the store to Mohawk Park. We will leave from the store at 5:30 pm
Thursday Group Ride:
• We will have our usual Thursday ride, April 8th at 6:00 pm for those not wanting to participate in the time trails.
Friday Morning 5:15 Running Group
• John Stanfield has volunteered to lead an early Friday morning running group. It will start this Friday, April 9th. The group will be leaving from the YMCA at 5:15 am. We will start out doing a 45 minute run and gradually increase time and distance. Anyone is welcome to participate.
Claremore Spring Fever
• Claremore Spring Fever Triathlon is this Sunday, April 11th. Good luck to all of our members participating. Race support provided by 360 Sports Bike Shop will be available race morning.
Battle at the Bird Mountain Bike Race
• The rescheduled Battle At The Bird mountain bike race is this Sunday, April 11th. See attached flier. More information will be available later in the week regarding what time we will be leaving Sunday morning. If you are interested in participating, let Jon know.
Saturday’s Ride:
• The Sag Wagon will be doing a modified Mohawk Loop (approximately 16-20 miles).
• The Peloton will be doing the Redbud loop (approximately 35 miles). Map to follow. The Peloton will have three different pace groups with three different leaders.
• The Break-Away group will do a 50 mile loop. Map to follow.
Tour De Tick Neosho, Mo.
• Sunday, April 25th is the Tour De Tick Mountain Bike race in Neosho, Missouri at Bicentennial Park. Several club members will be attending the race. If you are interested in participating, contact Jon at the store.
Joseph Sheehan Road Race, Leavenworth, Ks
• Sunday, April 25th is a 50.2 road race in Leavenworth, Kansas. See attached flier. We are wanting to put a team together to participate. If you are interested, please call Jon.
