Newsletter-Saturday Ride Corrections

Saturday, May 8th
• Due to our daughters, Meghann and Danielle, graduating from the University of Tulsa on Saturday, May 8th , we will not be opening until 12:30 pm. Congratulations Danielle and Meghann! We are very proud of you.
Because of the longer distance on the Break-Away Group. The new start time will be at 6:00am. The Sag Wagon and Peloton will start at 7:00 am.
Saturday’s Ride: Start Time 7:00am for the Sag Wagon and Peloton - 6:00am for the Break-Away
• We will have a ride this Saturday, May 8th.
• We will have a short pre-ride meeting before leaving at 7:00 am.
• The Sag Wagon will be doing approximately 16-20 miles.
• The Peloton will be doing approximately 42 miles. The Peloton will have three different pace groups with three different leaders (15+ mph, 16+ mph, and 17+ mph pace)
• The Break-Away group will do a 70 mile loop. Will start at 6:00am
• Maps will be posted on our website by the end of the day Friday. http://www.360sportsbikes.com/360_events.html
• Remember if you have not signed a waiver; please come into the store to do so before riding.
• Parking for the Saturday Rides… Please do not park on the side in front of the Owasso Beauty College or in front of the Card Shop on Main Street. Please leave the three spaces in front of the Card Shop open. You are welcome to park in front of our shop and across the street in the open lot. Thank you for your cooperation
Turkey Mountain-Cross Country Mountain Bike Race
• We had seven club members that raced last Sunday (two juniors, one female, and four males).
• Mary Finton finished third in her class. Great job Mary!
• Benjamin Hosz , a junior racer, completed his first mountain bike race. He finished third in his class. Congratulations Benjamin!

Tulsa Wheelmen Thursday Night Time Trail Series:
• Thursday, May 13th will be the second time trail of the Wheelmen series. It will be a 10k course.
• The cost for the time trial is $10.00, plus if you do not have a USAC yearly license, there is a one-day license fee for $10.00.
• We will be riding (bikes) to Mohawk Park. We will leave from the store at 5:30 pm.

The Ride of Silence
• Wednesday, May 19th is the National Ride of Silence. This is a ride in honor of those cyclists killed or injured on the roads.
• We encourage as many club members/riders as possible to participate.

360 Sports Club Meeting
• Saturday, June 5th @ 4:00 pm.
Tuesday Night Bricks
• For those who are interested, we are doing bricks on Tuesday nights after the ride. We will run from the store after the ride. You run at your own pace and distance.
Friday Morning 5:15 Running Group
• Remember the early morning run group; The group leaves from the YMCA at 5:15 am. Anyone is welcome to participate. You can run at your own pace and distance.
Tuesday/Friday Run Group
• Christy Moss is continuing the run group that meets at the YMCA on Tuesday/Friday mornings at 10:00 am. They are doing distances of 3-4 miles, but you can adjust the run to your own pace and distance. Anyone is welcome to participate.
