Hey Riders,
We have a great group going down to Texas this weekend! What a exciting time! If you have not signed up yet, remember to put 360 Sports as your team. If you don’t have dinner plans yet, they do provide a spaghetti dinner Friday night from 5:30 to 9:00 pm for $8.00 a person at the MPEC Coliseum Lower Level. They also do a breakfast Saturday morning for riders beginning at 5:00 AM - cost ???. Breakfast is offered by Luby's and is at the West end of the Exhibit Hall.
Saturday morning, we will be arriving at the MPEC building around 5:30 am. We will meet up at the location on the attached map by 6:00 am and will be getting in the start line by 6:15 am. We have riders doing most of the distances. There is a group of our riders who are going to do a sub 5 hour 100 mile ride. Several groups are doing the 100 miles at a variety of paces, a 100K mile group, and a 25 mile group. If you are interested in getting in any of these, be at the meeting place at 6:00 am. We will go over a few things and break up into our groups by 6:15 am..
Attached are also two GPX files for the HHH provided by club member Mark Lewis. One is for the 100Mi route, and the other is for the waypoints (food stations) along the route. Thanks Mark!
After the ride, we will be having a 360 Sports HHH BBQ. We will begin grilling around 4:30 pm. It is a come and go and all are welcome. Our campground is the Burkburnett/Wichita Falls KOA : http://koa.com/where/tx/43115/. We will provide the hamburger, hotdogs, chips and water bottles. Please bring a six pack of drinks, (pop, sports drink, etc) to share with the group. Also, if you want to bring a dish or a dessert, please feel free to do so.
Remember for those not going to HHH2010, there is no ride on Saturday, August 28th. Also the Store will be closed on Saturday, August 28th, so that all of our staff members can participate in the ride. We will re-open Tuesday, August 31st at our regular hours.
